Hardly 200 birds left in Kutch - fallen prey to Diclofenc Sodium an Antiinfalmatory non steroidal veterinary drug used as panacea for all ills by cow herders and dairy people. Althoigh it is banned by Indian Government. The exisiting stock of this lethal drug for Gyps vultures should be phased out and a safe Drug Meloxicam should be used.
