This species is seen in Oriya village area, Sunrise valley, Adher Devi area, ganesh Point and Sun sut point roads in lantana country, it is confined to Mt.Abu and a small population 9estimated 800 Green Avadavat survive at an altitude 1219 metres, in the plains of Sirohi and adjoining areas it is not seen. A small population survive in Kumbhalgarh area and at taranga hills.
