When last photographed on 4/24 these chicks were earthbound. They now have at least limited flight as the wall is four feet high. The clutch of eleven is reduced to four. The Roadrunners are the chief predator and I have seen the male quail chase the Roadrunners. Hopefully the four will make it adulthood.
