While visiting my wifes family in Perm Russia, I noticed this strange sound coming from a flock a birds flying nearby. The birds sounded like they were mechanical, a rapid clacking sound. I have become very interested in the Jackdaw ever since. I have researched the bird and have found out that they have been seen here in northeast US and Canada. This picture was taken at a country home (Docha), in the Perm Region of Russia.
