These birds are very shy but because of the cold, and most waters being frozen over, they were forced to this lake in Amsterdam which is in a populated area, they were grazing on the bank but everytime someone walked by they got scared and ran to the edge of the bank, i managed to take this photo when all are facing in the same direction right before they took flight.
