This bird was from an egg that was brought from Dubbo Zoo & placed in a tame emus nest. It stayed around Willie Station for 9 months keeping close company with the old farmer. Sadly the farmer died & it disappeared into the bush for 9 months but returned & would walk with me in the mornings & made an excellent mobile hide to photograph from behind.
