Common Rock-sparrow (Petronia petronia) photo
Here it's a Rock sparrow (Petronia petronia) and altought he doesn't seem wonderful for the colours, he is really wonderful because the way of fattening to his children. I was following to a couple of them from several days ago and I can ensure they are fast and efective birds when they have to feed children. They come out the nest and in a few minutes they come in with a wide range of insects and this operation is repeated and repeated without taking a break... I saw them with two or three grasshoeper in the beak, with some coleopterous, with little butterflies and so on... but I had never seen them with a caterpillar of this size.
