The Cactus wren is Arizona's state bird. Omnivorous. The bird loves insects and is capable of extraordinary avian athleticism in pursuit. Their architecturally interesting nests decorate the Cholla cactus, and they often nest in the midst of human activity. They are unafraid and self assured.
