The Black-fronted Nunbird is the largest member of the Puffbird family. It is an overall dull black with a slender and slightly decurved coral-red bill. They are found in lower to middle levels of forest close to rivers and streams. Often in small groups they are quite noisy, singing together and sometimes calling to nearby groups who respond.
