Ranganathittu is one of the largest Bird Sanctuaries in India, and the largest home for Storks in Karnataka. The Bird Sanctuary is a small island formed by River Kaveri. All months of the year are suitable to see plenty of nesting aquatic birds, Marsh Crocodiles and Otters.
