Spanish: Martín Pescador Plateado
Taxonomy: Ceyx argentata Tweeddale, 1877, Dinagat, Philippines.
Sometimes placed in the genus Ceyx. Forms a superspecies with A. cyanopectus. Two subspecies recognized.
Subspecies and Distribution:
- flumenicola (Steere, 1890) - Samar, Leyte and Bohol (SC Philippines).
- argentata (Tweeddale, 1877) - Dinagat, Siargao, Mindanao and Basilan (S Philippines).
